2026 EDITORIAL CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
La Gran Colombia University, through its Research Department, reaffirms its commitment to the dissemination of knowledge, academic production, artistic and cultural creation, and innovation. In line with the Institutional Strategic Development Plan, the Policy on Research, Innovation, Technological Development, and Artistic and Cultural Creation, and the development of the institutional publishing system, the Call for Book Publications 2026 is now open.
This call seeks to strengthen the circulation of knowledge produced by the Grancolombiana community and promote the quality, relevance, and impact of university publications.
II. General objectiveTo publish original and unpublished works derived from academic, research, creative, innovative, or outreach activities carried out by faculty members and research professors affiliated with La Gran Colombia University.
III. Target audienceFaculty members, postgraduate graduates, and members of research groups recognized by La Gran Colombia University. External authors may also participate, provided they have the respective acceptance and recommendation of a faculty member.
IV. Characteristics of publications resulting from the call for submissionsSubmitted manuscripts must meet the following conditions:
- Be original and unpublished works.
- Not have been submitted to other national or international publishers.
- Have the endorsement of the Faculty Council.
- Obtain a favorable editorial opinion.
- Be evaluated through double-blind peer review or, in exceptional cases, recommendation by an institutional scientific committee.
- Comply with editorial quality standards: citation, argumentative coherence, methodological rigor, and quality of graphic material. Be original and unpublished content, resulting from academic and research activities.
The types of publications that will be evaluated in this call for submissions will be governed by different book categories, in order to recognize the diversity of ways in which knowledge is produced and shared at La Gran Colombia University. Below is a simple explanation of each type of work and the conditions it must meet.
