Synopsis

Collaboration is a central element of society, grounded in social well-being and a commitment to collective development. To encourage and conduct these selfless actions, fundraising and crowdfunding are identified as strategies that can benefit the development of the Ticuna indigenous community in the Amazon. This chapter adopts a qualitative approach, featuring a literary narrative inspired by the Ticuna worldview. The text interweaves theory and storytelling to show how traditional economic sustenance practices —such as artisanal fishing, chagra agriculture, and handicraft production— can be reinforced through modern collaborative financing tools. By incorporating myths, fictional characters, and supernatural events, it discusses specific cases and possibilities in which fundraising and crowdfunding support the development, cultural preservation, and economic autonomy of the Ticuna community, aiming for a balance between ancestral tradition and global solidarity.
