Synopsis

Las prácticas experimentales representan el núcleo del método científico, integrando procedimientos sistemáticos con procesos cognitivos complejos. Este capítulo delimita sus componentes fundamentales —diseño, ejecución y validación— analizando cómo cada fase contribuye tanto al avance del conocimiento científico como al desarrollo de competencias investigativas en el aula. Mediante un enfoque que combina perspectivas históricas, epistemológicas y didácticas, se establecen los criterios básicos para implementar experimentos con rigor metodológico y valor educativo.

Author Biography

Carlos Eduardo León Salinas, Universidad La Gran Colombia

Ph.D. candidate in Mathematics Education at the Center for Research in Applied Science and Advanced Technology at the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico. He holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics Education from the National Pedagogical University, a specialization in Pedagogy and University Teaching from La Gran Colombia University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the National Pedagogical University. 

Professor and researcher affiliated with the Education and Pedagogy research group at La Gran Colombia University, and coordinator of the CIAEM group for the popularization of mathematics in Colombia.
