Synopsis

This work is the result of a rigorous research process focused on the informal settlements in the municipality of Mocoa—areas that, beyond being the subject of this project, represent the setting where academia seeks to generate tangible solutions. These pages detail the findings and proposals derived from fieldwork aimed at transforming the reality of these communities through a human-centered and resilient architectural vision. This work is in line with the Plan Estratégico Institucional de Desarrollo (PEID 2021-2027) dof the Universidad La Gran Colombia, in conjunction with the School of Architecture, which reaffirms its commitment to the country’s vulnerable populations.
