Forum 3. Planning and architecture
Synopsis
This forum was proposed based on the following question: What role should architecture professionals play in relation to land use and planning? This question is linked to the theme of Table 3 of CLEFA 2023 and aims to understand the new scenarios for architects in the face of the challenges posed by land use dynamics. In this sense, the presentations accompanying this forum answer the guiding question from two main perspectives: the first, from the professional's training, academic and methodological experience that seeks to understand the dynamics of cities from an academic perspective based on collaborative learning and the unique recognition of cities based on the definition of urban issues and problems. Likewise, the inclusion of the gender perspective in the teaching of architecture mediated by the externalization of the relationship between students and their parents, as well as the role of teaching in architecture faculties for the disciplinary field, with a global view of development based on interdisciplinary programs.
